Founded in 2000, Habitat for Humanity Lake County California provides high quality, affordable housing to low-to-moderate income Partner families in need. We are part of a global nonprofit housing organization, dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes. We advocate for fair and just housing policies, provide training and access to resources to help families improve their housing conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.

To date there are 18 houses built in the city of Clearlake and 1 completed in Lakeport and 1 located in Clearlake Oaks. We also focus on offering critical health and safety related repairs to low-income homeowners in need in our county, and we need volunteers! If you would like to help in these repair efforts, please contact our office for an application or download one from this site and email or mail it to us. Or come on by our office and chat!

Relying on volunteers, donations, and the contributions from our community to serve our citizens, we strive to better the living conditions of the residents of Lake County. We are continuously seeking the generosity of our community members. Together, we can make a difference not only for the families whose lives we touch directly through repair and self-help housing, but to the community as a whole.

    • Thank you for the generous offer. We have also received one other offer, but until we find an office location to relocate, we will not know for certain what we will be able to use (dependent on the size of the space we are able to procure. We will definitely be in touch as soon as we find a new space!

  4. Hello, my name is Gary Krupa. I’m a CPA in Santa Rosa, Ca. I read about your unfortunate setback. I wish to help in some way if I can. Perhaps I can help with recovery of financial records or re-establishment of accounting systems. I can provide stability. I can refer a financing source that offers reasonable and affordable terms. I’m willing to donate some of my time. Let me know if I may be of service.
